Home

We are a small friendly club which share a common passion for off-road four wheel driving.

We welcome new members, and you don’t even need a Hilux to join.  Many of our members have started with a Hilux and have moved onto a variety of other vehicles.

We are affiliated with Four Wheel Drive Victoria and we are proud members of the Victorian High Country Huts Association

The Hilux Club hold our meetings at 8pm on the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at The Junction Hotel, 1 Plenty Road, Preston VIC 3072
Please feel free to come along and have a drink and a chat. Please ask at the bar if you cant find us.

Upcoming Trips

Snow Trip – Mt Skene – 7th Dec – 9th August

We have another snow trip planned for Mt Skene on the weekend of the 7th to 9th of August. This is a great trip, leaving from Jamieson and exploring the Mt Skene region. This track is closed from the King’s Birthday weekend through to Melbourne Cup weekend but is available to the club as we obtain a permit from the Four Wheel Drive Association of Victoria. Only paid-up members are allowed to attend this trip and need to contact the trip coordinator, David Paredes, or committee to register your interest in attending. You can also log on to our Club Facebook page and RSVP to this event to let us know you are coming.

Christmas Trip – O’Toole’s Flat – 4th Dec – 6th December

Hi Folks, Another year has passed and we are now rapidly approaching our next Christmas trip. It’s the biggest trip of the year with a huge turnout by all members and their families. This year will be at O’Toole’s Flat on Donnellys Creek Rd, Toombon, near Thompson Dam.

Santa will be coming on the back of a Hilux to deliver presents to the children of the club members. The club will be putting on a big spit roast of Pork, Beef and Lamb along with roasted vegies.

O’Tooles has plenty of room for smaller offroad caravans and camper trailers. If you are towing, you will need to follow Donnelly’s Creek Rd from Walhalla Rd. The descent into the valley for O’Tooles can be a bit slippery if wet so keep that in mind if you considering towing something in.
