Club Clothing Order Form
As discussed at last night’s General Meeting, we are going to be placing an order for Club Clothing next week.
All orders are to be provided to Matt (the president) by latest next Wednesday (25/1/2012).
The catalogue is online at www.bizcollection.com.au and there is a sizing guide there as well.
Please ensure that the size you order is available.

Pub of the Month
Have you been out for a meal, and had a great feed and were surprised on how good a little pub can be? Let us know about it here…or have you paid thru the nose for a plate of crap the kids could have cooked, then been turfed out the door for leering at the young barmaid’s bum? Give us the details, and a thumbs up or down on your pub…..
2012 Hilux Club Wall Calendars
We are producing a 2012 Hilux Club Wall Calendar.
It will be A3 size, featuring full colour photos from past Hilux Club trips. It will also include the dates for all Victorian public holidays, and Hilux club meetings. The cost is only $15 for financial club members, and $20 for non members. All proceeds go to the club.
Calendars should be ready for pickup at the Christmas Trip. If you can’t make the trip, the calendar will be posted out. You must pay in full by the 16th of November (General Meeting) as we will be only making caledars for those that have ordered and paid.

Queens birthday – Hard trip through the high country
Simmo is running a hard trip through the High Country. Starting at Jamieson, doing.. Mt Skene, Barkley river, Mt Sunday, Grimes Spur, Butcher Country, Caledonia River, Bluff Hut, Corn Hill logging track. Might be a chance of some snow.
Meeting at Doctors Creek reserve on Friday night 10th June.
Coming home through Mansfield Monday arvo 13th June.
You will need a reliable car with a working (meaning recently checked) winch.
Mud tyres, as big as you got will be an advantage.
At least 500kms worth of fuel.
One bag of wood for Friday night.
trip sheet has been up at the last few meetings and already has a few names on it. should be an EPIC voyage.
January General Meeting
The Hilux Club is on the move again for our Meetings.
Our stint at the re-furbished ‘Gasometer’ has not quite been up to expectations, so your Committee has spent some time tracking down (and trying) a new meeting location.
We have settled upon the “Queensberry Hotel”. According to the website it is:
Built in 1890, the recently renovated heritage listed hotel has become a funky yet traditional hotel. Conveniently located a short distance from the CBD and walking distance to Melbourne Central, the Queensberry is easy to get to via public transport and there are plenty of parking spaces in the area.

Australia Day EVE night drive Lerderderg 25 jan 2011
Matt is running a trip to the Lerderderg state Park on the Eve of Australia Day.
The trip will be a night drive with the option to camp out and all members are welcome to come.
Front and rear recovery points are a must, and a sence of adventure would come in handy.
Leave a reply to this post to register your intrest in going on this trip and a trip sheet will be up at the next meeting.
