Righto, Bushwalkers and support crews, meeting at the Delatite Pub Mansfield on Friday night 8th april from 6:00 pm onwards.

After a sumptious helping of Ribs for dinner we are heading out to Granny’s Flat to set up camp.

Saturday Morning early start for the walkers. 

Saturday afternoon, Heading over to King Valley to meet up with working bee workers.

Requirements for the walk:

 Good walking boots, water 1 or 2 litres should be enough. Can refil from river along the way. Waterproof jacket. Food for lunch.

Simmo has put his hand up to run the long weekend trip.

Starting off at Dargo Friday night, camping behind the other pub. Dargo River Inn. Have a meal at the pub and arrive at you leisure. Tarp will be up for swags and cots. 

Shower available in the morning…Total cost $2.00… plus drinks and dinner!

 Then heading out bush for a few days and coming home on Monday. Looking to stay at Marthervale hut, Saturday night or Dawson city. Cams top place on Sunday night, then coming home back through Dargo Monday morning, stopping at Yarragon for 1/2 a dozen potato cakes around lunch time.

 Trip should be medium rated even if more rain comes.

Will check track conditions closer to the date.

Rating: Medium Trip, depending on the capabilities of attendees may be upgraded

Meeting at: Glenburn servo at 10:00am
Requirements: front and rear recovery points, UHF 27, own basic recovery gear, lunch, drinks, at least 1/2 tank of fuel

Matt is running a trip to the Lerderderg state Park on the Eve of Australia Day.

The trip will be a night drive with the option to camp out and all members are welcome to come.

Front and rear recovery points are a must, and a sence of adventure would come in handy.

Heading up to Erica staying at the caravan park there Friday 7th night, its a short walk to the pub for a hot rock steak dinner.

Saturday.. Trig tk, Flats tk, Morning Star tk, checking out the water wheel, burgoyne gap tk, camp at the river in Macalister Gorge scenic reserve.

Sunday.. Check out the secret hut there, and head up Cob Spur tk, (don’t even consider in the wet), then onto licola and home depending on who else comes and if you have to work, Monday.
