Labour Day Long Weekend Trip

Humph is running a trip on Labour Day long weekend in March.. late arrival Friday 9th and coming home Monday 12th.
We will be driving the Haunted Stream track, taking in Brookville, Mt Delusion and Martha Vale areas. The usual bush camping, enough fuel needed for 250-300kms of driving in the bush, food, water and personal hydration implements will be required.
Haunted Stream has got approx 55 river crossings, so a tarp or good electrical waterproofing for petrols, and snorkel for all.  Soundly maintained vehicles are invited, with mud tyres, and front and rear recovery points-(and I don’t mean your tow-tounge.) We will be crossing into National parks, so no guns or dogs please.
The club does provide a communal tarp which is used for cooking in poor weather, and sleeping preference given to swags. We also provide a chainsaw, and a Bear to operate it.
Put your name on the trip sheet @ the General Meeting, or express your interest, or fears here. Hope y’all can come, gunna be another trip to remember.

Dave Forsythe is running a trip to Top Crossing Hut on Australia Day weekend.
Australia Day is on Thursday the 26th of January, so people who want to attend will need to take the Friday off, if they want a long weekend.
I will be heading up on the Wednesday if any one wants to come up with me.
The trip will be base camping with some drives out from there, maybe even a picnic to Lake William Hovell.
I have attached some maps of the area around Top Crossing Hut to help members find their way in.
